Evie's 3rd Plane Trip

Evie & I recently flew back to Indiana for a funeral. I was truly saddened by the death of Ro Haakinson. She was the mother of my very best friend from childhood all the way through college. Ro was like a second mom and will truly be missed.

This trip ended up being bittersweet. We got to see Brandon and even got to go to Tanner's 3rd Birthday Party!! (Wish I had some pics to post!) On the way back to San Antonio, we got a whole row to ourselves. Evie loved sitting in a seat by herself and looking out the window! Sure wish we got frequent flier miles for her, too. But I won't complain, she flies free until she turns 2 years old!

G.G. & Grandpa's visit--Spring 2010

We were excited to have G.G. & Grandpa fly to San Antonio for a visit. Their trip was complete with a River Walk boat tour and a picture at the Alamo. Somehow, Bryan left his very nice camera on the bus trolley....thankfully after a stressful hour, he managed to get it back!!!

Before my parents flew back to Indiana we had to celebrate Evie's first birthday with them. Here are the pics of Evie's very first taste of cake and icing!!!

Evangelene's Baptism, March 27, 2010

G.G. flew into San Antonio late Friday night and then we headed east to Louisiana. Evangelene was baptized by our great family friend, Father Buddy Breaux in Rayne. Her baptismal gown and coat were handmade by my Aunt Carolyn (my mom's sister), who lives in Ohio. They are sooooo beautiful and such a keepsake. I hope to baptize many more babies in it!!!!

We truly missed having the whole family there!!!
