Baptismal Dress

So, we have finally set a date at the end of March to have Evangelene baptized back in Louisiana. I wish my whole family could be present, but at least my mom will be there. She is flying into San Antonio for her Spring visit and will make the road trip to Rayne with us for one of the weekends. My dad is flying in to join us for Easter weekend. We'll sure miss seeing Ami Bree, Tanner, Uncle Brandon and Uncle Rick!

Below are pics of Evie in her handmade dress. My mom and I found a non-traditional baptismal dress & jacket pattern last spring. We sent the pattern off to my Aunt Carolyn in Ohio, who made the dress for me. It came out even more beautiful than I expected....thank you, Aunt Carolyn!!!! The dress will most certainly be a cherished keepsake and one we will hopefully use for many more baptisms!!!
